THERE IS TECHNICALLY NO DUE DATE! Please, do not take this as "I can take like 6 months to do an entry!" There needs to be at least FIVE ENTRIES for this to count as a contest. After getting five entries, I will set a due date and every fifth entry after that I will add another art prize.

We now have twelve entries! Due date has been set below. Remember, starting with the tenth entry every fifth entry will mean a new prize added to the list.

This is the tenth Sanguem Deus Contest! Thank you to all of you who have participated in the past contests. This has been quite an enjoyable contest to hold. ^_^

Entries are due today! Don't wait until the last minute. Get them in as soon as possible.

If you would like to donate a prize, send me a note or leave a comment. It could be a stamp, art, feature, subscriptions, anything you're willing to donate.

Also, I'd like some people to volunteer to help promote the contest as well. Post about it in your journals and let others know~

Contest Ten!

Welcome to the Tenth Sanguem Deus Contest! We had a decent turn out for the ninth Sanguem Deus Contest. Let's see if we can beat that one out with this one.

Theme: Gray Scale

For this contest your entry must be done in black, white, and different shades of gray. No other colors are allowed in your entry. All forms of art are acceptable. If you're a writer, see how this can push your creativity to create such a piece. Maybe the characters are stuck in a grayscale world? Just a tip.

Because this is the Sanguem Deus contest, it requires that you have at least one of the characters from Sanguem Deus in your entry. You can have yourself or at least one of your own characters in the image as well, if you'd like.

I do give you creative liberty with the characters, the only thing I ask is that you do not change any of their physical attributes. If you are unsure about something you'd like to do with your entry, just send me a note and we can talk about it.

We had five entries for the last contest. Let's see if we can get more this time. Be sure to submit your entries to me by note and have "SD Contest Entry" in the subject. Please get your entries in as soon as possible to prevent struggling to get them turned in at the last minute.
